Fighting between the Arakan Army and the Burmese military continues on March 6 in the same places from March 5.

The Burmese military has beencontinuouslyfiringheavyartilleriesfromthree locations starting 12 noon March 6, 2019, to the hill range

in thesouthwestof Kyauk Pauk Village locate on thebank of Lemro River,Mrauk U Township, where fighting broke out yesterday as well.

Even though the Burmese Army started the offensives at 12:30 pm, the Arakan Army troops defensed best just to disperse the enemy troops.

Moreover, at 1:45 pm, the battalion (22) initiated another round of offensive attacks, which were well defensed by our troops.

The Arakan Army seized some ammunition and military equipment from the much-lost infantry unit (205) based in Myaing Ka Lay,

Karen State, a subsidiary of the battalion (22) in Hpa-An. Firings also continued at about five kilometers to the southwest of Pran-So Village,

Paletwa Township, where fires broke out yesterday on March 5.

The Burmese army has been continually firing heavy artilleries since noon. Today’s battles intensified just like yesterday’s ones, and there were

incidents of explosion of heavy artillery shells in the territory of Bangladesh as they were fired by the Burmese Army. Details of casualties are

yet to be confirmed.
