Formal Message of Congratulations from the United League of Arakan on the 7th anniversary of Khami National Day

Date: 27 April 2017

We, United League of Arakan/ Arakan Army (ULA/AA), wish to express our deep congratulations on the Khami National Day of 27 April 2017. We, Arakanese people, have always cherished Khami people as our fraternity and brotherhood who have been living together in the Arrakha Nation for thousand years.

Our brothers Khami people and Arakanese people had built together the Arakkha Nation for thousand-years since our successive forefathers and we are a kinship who have lived together peacefully and freely.

After the lost of sovereign power of the Arakkha Nation, the past glory of Khami-Rakhaing national condition is being surrounded and besieged by poverty, suffering and various perilous threats. Due to the oppression, dissension, deceitfulness and maneuvers of the colonized invader, our brotherhoods are in the situation of close but far away. Nevertheless, as the devotion to national interests of all Rakhaing ethnic peoples, our ULA/AA fighting for according to the way of Rakhita (Rakhita Political Doctrine) shall equally protect the interests of Khami national brothers and we are practically implementing political commitments in a strong pledge of working hand in hand together with Khami brothers.

We assume that nowadays is critical moment to protect religious and territory and to preserve brotherhood Khami people’s tradition, culture and language. Therefore, without listening to the lure of colonized invaders and strangers, to march on the alliance of our brotherhoods for the common interests with good will, great sacrifices and strong tie, this formal message has proudly been delivered with best wishes.
